Our Process

 

1. Contact

You send us the pitchdeck of your project.

 

2. Review

We review your pitch deck, do research, decide if we are interested, and determine what the big questions are for us.

 

3. In person meeting

If we think it’s a good match, we invite you to meet us in person or even better visit you at your location.

 

4. Evaluation

After the meeting, a family member will write an investment recommendation. We convene a family meeting to discuss and determine if we are interested to pursue.

 

5. Due dilligence

Usually, we have additional follow up questions arising out of our discussions or more family members who want to meet the team.

 

6. Decision

We convene the Aribeda investment committee with all 5 active family members and vote on the investment decision.

  • Entrepreneurial

    We know from personal experience that it's difficult to be an entrepreneur and that your focus must be on building the business and not on fundraising.

  • Uncomplicated

    We are not going to burden you with exotic reporting standards, and we understand that wearing a suit is not required to achieve results. Facts matter more to us than formatting.

  • Transparent

    We talk directly, not through intermediaries. We vow to get you a decision as soon as we can and explain our reasoning. We don’t play games (and expect the same from you).
